Managed Laundry Systems

A managed laundry contract (sometimes known as a route operation) provides the customer with a free and fully serviced coin operated laundry, in exchange for the takings being shared. This arrangement is very popular with university accommodation blocks, where a large coin operated laundry is situated, usually on the ground floor, for all the students to use.
The customer is required to provide:
- Space for the laundry
- Gas, water and electricity

The Stanland Group will provide (free of charge in all cases):
- New commercial laundry equipment
- Installation of equipment
- Repairs to the equipment (for fair wear and tear faults)
- Collection of money from the site on a regular basis
- Management reports
- PLUS a generous share of the gross takings
The managed laundry contract is a very attractive proposition for coin-operated laundries where the operator would like the collection of monies and management of repairs to be carried out by a third party.

Universities and accommodation blocks find this system particularly attractive.
Leeds, Hull, Teesside and Durham Universities all have managed laundry facilities operated by Stanland.
